Coleman Greene

Roy Coleman Greene, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at The Homestead. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Vestal and Annie Mae Gunter Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Martin. Coleman enjoyed watching the UNC Tarheels and Atlanta Falcons play sports and fishing. He is survived by four daughters, Kymberly Greene Quinn (Dave) of Waynesville, Debbie Robinson (Matt) of Canton, Andrea Taylor (Avery) of Tampa, Florida, and Amanda Greene (Brian) of Albertville, Alabama; four sisters, Joyce Dennis, Frances Taylor, Wanda Greene, and Jean Hamilton all of Gastonia; one brother, Joe Greene of South Carolina; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to MedWest Haywood Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Silver Bluff Village and The Homestead Hospice teams for their dedicated love and care given to Coleman.
