Brenda Burnette

Waynesville, Brenda Gail Inman Burnette, age 58, of 134 Vaughn Cove Road, went home to be with her Lord on February 14, 2013 at Mission Hospital. Brenda was the daughter of the late Rev. Robert Laverne Inman and Marrian Evelyn Green Inman. She was also preceded in death by a twin brother and sister, Mark and Mary Inman; paternal grandparents, William and Julia Inman; and maternal grandparents, Frank and Elsie Green. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Camp Branch Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and sang with her family, The Inman Sisters, for a number of years. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, William Bobby Burnette; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Williams (John); three step-granddaughters, Annie Morris, Jennifer Norris, and Crystal Conner; five great grandchildren; seven sisters, Barbara Bowles of Gastonia, Kathy Messer (James), Judy Caldwell (Darrell), and Jane Dills (Michael), all of Waynesville, Wilma Green (Kenneth) and Alice James (Larry) of Canton, and Dorothy Seiler (Frank) of Stokesdale, NC; one brother, William Inman (Debra) of Woodfin; 13 nieces, 8 nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews, and 8 great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby and Reverend Steve Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be James Messer, Darrell Caldwell, Michael Dills, Larry James, Kenneth Green and Frank Sieler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, and at other times, at the home of William Bobby Burnette.
