Billy Joe Kuykendall, age 52, passed away on February 4, 2013 at his residence.
He was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late Albert Martin and Ruby Smith Kuykendall. He retired from the Town of Biltmore Forest after 30 years of service.
He is survived by three sisters, Joyce Searcy of Candler, Betty Elliott and her husband, John, of Canton and Mary Kuykendall of Hendersonville; and a nephew, Jeffrey Searcy and his wife, Amethyst, of Waynesville. He was loved and will be missed by many close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
