Bill Henline

June 28, 1934 — May 19, 2009

Clyde, Bill Henline, age 74, of Nellie John Drive, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at his residence. Bill was a native of Haywood County, and was the son of the late Carl and Rachael Ensley Henline. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Darrell Gene Henline. Bill retired from Southern Concrete as a Diesel Mechanic in 2006. Bill enjoyed his Harley, his toy trains, playing his guitar, and his grandchildren. He attended Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jeannean Henline; four sons, Dean Henline, and his wife, Traci, of Waynesville, Scott Parton, and his wife, Glenda, of Byron, GA, Todd Parton, and his wife, Robin, of Waynesville and Terry Henline, and his wife, Laura, of Waynesville; four daughters, Darlene Henline McElrath, and her husband, Eddie, of Clyde, Marsha Henline, Anita Conard, and Sherry Henline all of Waynesville; one sister, Betty Henline Haney, of Melbourne, FL; one brother, Gary Henline, and his wife, Judy, of Brown Sumitt, NC; 15 grandchildren and four great - grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Scott Parton officiating. Burial will follow in Bon A Venture Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Parton, Terry Henline, Tyler Ponder, Aaron Ponder, Clinton Conard, Spencer Roberts and Trevor Roberts and Todd Parton. Memorials may be made to Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P.O. Box 992, Waynesville, NC 28786.
