Beatrice Caldwell

Lake Junaluska, Beatrice "Bea" Grooms Caldwell, age 87, formerly of the Lake Logan community, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Brian Center. She was a native of Cocke County TN, and had lived most of her life in Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Victoria Grooms. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joann Caldwell Brown and son-in-law Fred Brown. Mrs. Caldwell retired as a cook at Lake Logan Lodge. She enjoyed working in her garden and reading and also loved going to yard sales. She is survived by two grandsons; Joe Brown and his wife, Judy and Mark Brown and his wife, Ann, all of Lake Junaluska; two great grandchildren, Amy and Luke Brown and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville.
