Waynesville, Barbara Jean Case, age 32, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Med-West Haywood.
A native of Sarasota, Florida, she was the daughter of Richard and Diana Robb Granstaff of Waynesville. Barbara was an R.N., and enjoyed her family and working outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 7 years, Willie Case; two daughters, Christine and Lillian Case; one son, Gene Case; father and mother-in-law, Billy and Karen Case of Waynesville; mother-in-law, Luna Godwin of Wilmington, NC and three brothers, Gene Granstaff of Florida, Richard Granstaff of California, and Terry Granstaff of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Gilland officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
