Arline Sharp

Arline Sharp "1927 – 2013" Canton – Mary Arline Sharp, age 86, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals surrounded by her loving family. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Mary Sharp. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Howard Sharp. Arline served as a foster grandparent for 11 years. She is survived by five children, Marie Love and her husband, William, of Miami, Florida, Elaine Clark of Worcester, Massachusetts, James Clark, Belinda Winston, and Lavern Sharp all of Canton; one sister, Elizabeth Fretwell of Canton; two nephews, James Fretwell and Kermit Sharp; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
