Ann Rockwell

Erna "Ann" Rockwell, age 66, of Jess Cove Road died on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at her residence. A native of Deutsch Reichenau, Germany, she was the daughter of Monika Hinterberger of Amberg, Germany and the late Alois Hinterberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Rockwell who died in 2001. Ann had a love for painting and was a talented craftswoman. Ann was commissioned to paint the Fines Creek community sign off of Exit 15 on I-40. She is survived by her life partner of 10 years, Thom Stanfield; two sons, Stefan Hinterberger and his partner, Barbara, of Biburg, Germany and Christian Thaler of Amberg, Germany; a daughter, Sandy Reece and her husband, Jeff, of Waynesville; three sisters, Hedwig Meindl, Emma Sepulveda, and Frieda Janner all of Amberg, Germany; a brother, Erwin Hinterberger of Amberg, Germany; and five grandchildren, Kerri Belk, Kayla Warlick, Levi Reece, Brook Reece, and Florentina Winkler. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
