"Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather"

Waynesville, B.C. Jones, 83, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late William Homer Jones and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Franklin Jones. He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and later earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Carolina University. B.C. was a retired General Foreman from the Dayco Corporation and owned the NAPA auto parts store in Franklin. B.C. enjoyed working and farming and liked to go fishing. He was a member of New Savannah Baptist Church of Sylva and was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a hard-working, fair and honest man.

B.C. is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca Marlene Moody Jones; a son, Bill Jones and his wife, Gayla, of Waynesville; and two grandchildren, Coleman Joseph and Kennedy Grace Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Tim McConnell officiating.
